Counselling and Listening: Be a steady, compassionate presence in the life of a woman who needs to be heard. Offer trauma-informed listening and gentle guidance through one-to-one support or small groups. Help women find practical
next steps and connect them with further professional resources.
Chaplaincy and Prayer: If you have a heart for prayer and pastoral care, you can join or lead our prayer gatherings, visit women in hospitals or community settings, and share encouragement through Scripture and spiritual guidance.
Practical Support: Not every role is front-facing — and that’s okay. Some of our most valued volunteers work behind the scenes, assisting with administration, hospitality, transport, or event coordination. Others help with communications, outreach, and community engagement to keep everything running smoothly.

Meet and Screen: We’ll arrange an informal chat, request references, and carry out DBS checks where required.
Onboard: You’ll receive safeguarding and role-specific training, along with a volunteer handbook to help you settle in.
Serve and Grow: Begin on a flexible rota — even one shift a month — and become part of a caring team that grows together in faith and service.
